So, last Tuesday it rained all afternoon and by some freak timing it was also high tide… and when I tried to leave the office at 6pm it was like this…T-T
I should tell my boss we need to have emergency boats.

dbbpilapil asked: your artworks are too pretty and the way you color your works is too cool. i'd like to ask what are your tips in drawing. do i need to draw guides first? should i study human anatomy? things like these...

Thank you! If you’re just starting out and not used to anatomy/proportions yet, guidelines would definitely be helpful. I sometimes use them for complicated poses or angles. Most of the time though I get too lazy to use guidelines and just dive in and draw. haha. It’s different for everyone but I think the most important thing is practice. Sometimes for fun I’d look for reference photos on google to practice with, or when I’m bored taking a short break at work I’d copy my hand in all kinds of angles, or loosely sketch people in the room with their various poses and hand gestures. I’ve never had any formal art training in anatomy so the things I know are mostly learned from observation, drawing them over and over, and getting the hang of proportions and stuff as I go. Good luck and hope this helps! :)

I started reading this manga called Vinland Saga (well, I started YESTERDAY but now I’m halfway through), and it is so effing GOOD. It’s violent and gory and it’s got vikings. VIKINGS! OH MAN. I am devouring every chapter at a rapid pace and I can’t stop.
I’ve been busy lately working on a new children’s book (lol) but I just HAD to get this out of my system. Might do a couple more of these as I go though, because… so many feels!!! (´; д;`)
First off is an obligatory angry Thorfinn sketch.
